Scott-Macon Healthcare Group serves as financial advisor to IHN, Inc in sale transaction
August 2010Great-West Life and Annuity Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Great-West Lifeco Inc., announced the acquisition of all the outstanding shares of Indiana Health Network (IHN). Scott-Macon’s Healthcare Industry Group served as the exclusive financial advisor to Indiana Health Network in this sale transaction.
Great-West Life & Annuity’s healthcare division, Great-West Healthcare, will gain nearly 75,000 members from this transaction. Great-West Healthcare has a network across the U.S. of more than 4,250 hospitals and 550,000 providers and provides healthcare services to 2 million people.

IHN, Inc, acts as a Workers’ Compensation Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) with Primary Network services in Indiana and Nevada, as well as portions of Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois.
