L. Price Blackford

Price Blackford is a Managing Director and Head of Scott-Macon Group, Inc.’s Transportation & Logistics Group.

Mr. Blackford has over 40 years of investment banking experience, of which 25 years has been focused in the transportation and logistics industry sectors.

From 2004 up to joining Scott-Macon in 2013, Mr. Blackford was a Founding Partner, Managing Director and Senior Advisor with Sagent Advisors and focused on the transportation and logistics sectors. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation and its successor Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation for 15 years. Mr. Blackford began his career at Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. as a Corporate Finance Generalist.

Mr. Blackford has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international financings, recapitalizations, valuations and financial advisory services.

Mr. Blackford is a graduate of Washington and Lee University with a BA in Economics and received his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He currently serves on the Business Advisory Committee of the Transportation Center at Northwestern University.
