Stone Bridge Energy Partners Finance for Ethylene-to-Butene-1 Plant

Scott-Macon's Chemical Group advises SBE on joint development venture with Evonik Industries.

SBE Chemical Partners I LLC (SBE) announced the completion of all capital commitments to proceed with the development of and on-purpose Ethylene-to-Butene-1 processing facility called “Raven”. Scott-Macon’s Chemicals Group acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Stone Bridge Energy Partners in this transaction.

This joint venture between Evonik Industries and Stone Bridge Energy Partners will be located in Baytown, Texas, with the plant costing nearly $200 million and providing 100,000 metric tons per year of capacity starting in 2018.
