Carrier Corporation, a United Technologies Company, announced the sale of its Bus Air Conditioning Business (the Company) in Europe, India and Mexico to J. Eberspächer GmbH & Co. KG. Scott-Macon’s Industrial & Automotive Group acted as exclusive financial advisor to Carrier Corporation in this transaction.

Serving the global bus and coach aftermarkets with replacement components and spare parts, the Company provides complete air conditioning systems for transit buses and coaches to global bus manufacturers such as Volvo, Van Hool, and Irisbus.

With their involvement in vehicle electronics and automotive bus systems, Eberspächer ranks amongst the leading system developers and suppliers of exhaust technology and vehicle heating worldwide. Its customers include almost all European and North American manufacturers for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
