Scott-Macon Group Advises Westlake Chemical Corp. on the Sale of Westech Building Products ULC

30-Jun-2021

Westlake Chemical Corporation, a global manufacturer and supplier of petrochemicals, polymers and building products headquartered in Houston, Texas, has sold Westech Building Products ULC to Trusscore, Inc.

Westech®, based in Calgary, Alberta, began in 1979 as Engineered Profiles, Ltd. The company is a leading producer of PVC extruded profiles and custom shapes for windows and doors and other PVC-building materials industries. In 1984 it offered the first fully welded casement systems to window fabricators. Later it added new systems to keep up with the growing demands for maintenance-free, energy-efficient, vinyl windows. In addition to its core window and door systems, Westech® produces various PVC building products including walls, panels, docks and decks.

Based in Palmerston, Ontario, Trusscore is a material science company developing sustainable building materials. The company manufactures a range of products for multiple uses that install faster than alternatives with a durable, finished appearance. Applications include garages, workshops, hospitality venues, restaurants, offices, barns, indoor grow rooms, animal containment facilities and rooms that require a crisp, clean, long-lasting finish.
