Hanger Orthopedic Group Inc. (NYSE:HGR) Acquires SureFit Assets For Undisclosed Sum

Hanger Orthopedic Group Inc. (NYSE:HGR), which owns and operates orthotic and prosthetic patient care centers, has said that its Southern Prosthetics Supply Inc. subsidiary has acquired certain assets of SureFit LLC. Financial terms were not disclosed.
SureFit, a manufacturer and distributor of therapeutic footwear for diabetic patients, posted $9.2 million in revenue for the year ended May 31. Hanger has said that the acquisition will not impact the company’s fiscal 2007 earnings per share. Shares of Hanger fell 30 cents to close at $10.60.
