Carrier Corp. sells its Bus Air Conditioning Business in Europe, India and Mexico to Eberspächer

Carrier Corporation, a United Technologies Company, has sold its Bus Air Conditioning Business (the Company) in Europe, India and Mexico to J. Eberspächer GmbH & Co. KG. The Company provides complete air conditioning systems for transit buses and coaches to global bus manufacturers such as Volvo, Van Hool, and Irisbus. Additionally, the Company serves the global bus and coach aftermarkets with replacement components and spare parts.

Headquartered in Farmington, Conn., Carrier Corp. is the world’s largest provider of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, with operations in more than 170 countries. Carrier is part of United Technologies Corp., a Hartford, Connecticut-based provider of products and services to the aerospace and building systems industries worldwide.

Eberspächer ranks amongst the leading system developers and suppliers of exhaust technology and vehicle heating worldwide and is also involved in vehicle electronics and automotive bus systems. Its customers include almost all European and North American manufacturers for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
