Fabian Hassel has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, public accounting and cross-border business. He has been focusing on the global industrial manufacturing and service industries for eighteen years, serving mainly middle-market companies in North America and Europe. During his investment banking career, Mr. Hassel has been involved in over $6.0 billion of debt and equity financings for his clients and over $7.8 billion of merger and acquisition transactions.

Prior to joining Scott-Macon in 2005 to lead Scott-Macon’s existing industrial and automotive group, Mr. Hassel founded Hassel & Co., Inc., an international investment banking boutique focused on providing investment banking services to industrial and automotive clients in North America and Europe. Prior to forming Hassel & Co., Mr. Hassel was a Managing Director and Head of the Automotive Industry Groups at UBS Warburg/PAINE WEBBER INC. and, subsequently, ABN AMRO. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hassel formed the Automotive Group of Schroder & Co. He joined Schroders from Dresdner Kleinwort Benson North America, where he was a Senior Vice President in Corporate Finance. Mr. Hassel began his career in the German offices of Arthur Andersen & Co, later relocating to New York.

Mr. Hassel is a graduate of the European Business School (Frankfurt, London, Paris).
