QualCare Alliance Networks, Inc. acquires Scibal Associates, Inc.

QualCare Alliance Networks, Inc., the parent company of QualCare, Inc., has acquired Alterra Group, Inc., the holding company for Scibal Associates, Inc. and Encentives, Inc.

Scibal Associates is a privately held firm headquartered in Somers Point, New Jersey, specializing in providing third party administrative services for property & casualty and workers’ compensation claims since 1953.

QualCare, Inc. is the largest full service, provider-sponsored managed care organization owned and operated in the State of New Jersey. It is majority owned by 12 New Jersey hospital systems and physician organizations, and have more than 600,000 members currently enrolled in a full range of self-funded managed care products.
